Sync jobs with Google Calendar

Last updated 5 May 2026

Subscribe to your MyTradePlatform job feed so all your appointments appear automatically in Google Calendar.

Add your MyTradePlatform job feed to Google Calendar and every appointment you schedule will appear alongside the rest of your day — across web, Android, and any device signed in to your Google account.

Before you start

You will need:

  • A MyTradePlatform account with at least one scheduled job
  • Your personal calendar feed URL — find it in Settings → Calendar Sync and tap Copy link
  • A Google account, signed in at calendar.google.com

The feed is read-only and tied to your account. Keep the link private — anyone with the URL can see your scheduled jobs.

You must add the subscription on Google Calendar's web app first. The Google Calendar mobile app cannot add a new subscription, but it will display the feed once it has been added on the web.

Steps

  1. Open calendar.google.com in a browser and sign in
  2. In the left-hand sidebar, find Other calendars and click the + icon next to it
  3. Choose From URL
  4. Paste your MyTradePlatform feed URL into the URL of calendar field
  5. Click Add calendar
  6. Close the settings page — your MyTradePlatform calendar now appears under Other calendars in the sidebar

What you'll see

Your scheduled jobs appear as calendar events within a few minutes. Each event shows the job title, client, and property address. Google Calendar refreshes subscribed feeds automatically every few hours — newly scheduled or rescheduled jobs sync in the background, no action required.

To make MyTradePlatform jobs visible on your phone, open the Google Calendar app, tap your profile icon → Settings → MyTradePlatform and toggle Sync on.

Troubleshooting

My jobs aren't showing up. Confirm the URL pasted matches exactly what you copied — Google rejects URLs with trailing whitespace silently. Wait 10–15 minutes after adding — Google's first sync is not always immediate. If the calendar appears but is empty, check you have at least one job scheduled in MyTradePlatform.

How often does the calendar refresh? Google refreshes external calendar subscriptions roughly every 8–24 hours. There is no setting to make it faster. For real-time visibility, use the MyTradePlatform app directly. The subscription is best treated as a backup view, not a live mirror.

How do I remove the subscription? Go to calendar.google.com, hover over MyTradePlatform under Other calendars in the left sidebar, click the X that appears next to it, and confirm.
